Keeping Focused

This song helps me keep the focal point sharply defined.

Sitting at the feet of Jesus,
Oh, what words I hear Him say!
Happy place! so near, so precious!
May it find me there each day;

Sitting at the feet of Jesus,
I would look upon the past;
For His love has been so gracious,
It has won my heart at last.

Sitting at the feet of Jesus,
Where can mortal be more blest?
There I lay my sins and sorrows,
And, when weary, find sweet rest;
Sitting at the feet of Jesus,
There I love to weep and pray;
While I from His fullness gather
Grace and comfort every day.

Bless me, O my Savior, bless me,
As *I sit low at Thy feet; [*I’m waiting]
Oh, look down in love upon me,
Let me see Thy face so sweet;
Give me, Lord, the mind of Jesus,
Keep me holy as He is;
May I prove I’ve been with Jesus,
Who is all my righteousness.

Friends, let's spend more time at His feet.

What is Happening With The Unger's

It has been a great summer so far. Summer started back in May for us. Joyce was able to start summer vacation the 19th and we were off.

Our plan was to see Ryan before he left for CA. Yes, wouldn’t you know it . . . he took off the 16th. We missed him. . . oh well. We then traveled to Portland to pick up Joyce’s sister and her husband, to go on a “Cruson’s Cruise”. We met the rest of the Cruson clan in Seattle and we were off for 7 days to the inside passage of Alaska.

It was the first cruise Joyce and I have been on. It was a great time to be with the one I have loved for 37 years and we still like being with each other.

On the way home, we were invited to visit some friends who were vacationing in Central Oregon. Thanks Alan and Dar, you made our time extra special. We took some great pictures.

We finally made it home. Doug Reed was at 1st Assembly of God on Sunday and Monday, so we attended both meetings. Joyce and I were challenged in a great way. Yes, it has been a good summer so far.

Next update, when it gets here.

What is Happening With The Unger's

We have been very busy since August 2008.
In July we were introduced to a married for life ministry called 2 equal 1. (you can learn more about this ministry by visiting their web site at www.2equal1.com)
We started attending the classes in September and completed the 12 week class in December. After Christmas we took up the task of learning to be coaches in the Married For Life class. Then. . .we started co-coaching a group in February 2009. This next Saturday, the 9th of May, we will be graduating another Married For Life class.
This summer? Another, Married for Life class? Or maybe . . . . . I will let you know when I find out.
We pray that you will have a very wonderful summer.

Please Pray For Us
